DOHA: Al Sadd were awarded 3 points by the QFA Disciplinary Committee which
made the decision after a meeting headed by Hassan Al Hammadi.
Al Sadd lost to Al Markhiya in the opening round of QNB Stars League last week
but the winning side fielded ineligible player Saleh Mohammed.
Al Markhiya lost all three points and were fined QR 10,000.
The Committee announced several other decisions:
Mohamed Ghanim Al Ali, head Al Sadd, allowed his son on the pitch without permission
last week and the club has been penalised.
In another incident, Qatar SC were informed of the arrival of Sheikh Suhaim bin Khalid
Al Thani to the stadium without permisison in the match between Qatar SC and Al Duhail.
In another decision, the Committee said Shaheen Ali Mahmoud, a player of Muaither Club,
was fined QR. 2,000 for rough play and poor behavior.
