DOHA: Khalfan Ibrahim netted a brace (14th and 33rd) and Hassan Al Haidous (48th) and Nadir Belhadj (63rd) added one each as Al Sadd routed Umm Salal 4-1 in the 17th round of the Qatar Stars League (QSL) at the Al Sadd Stadium on Friday. Turkish striker Tuncay Sanli pulled one back for the losers in the 85th. The win helped Sadd regain the top spot in the QSL table as leaders Lekhwiya lost 0-2 to El Jaish. Romarinho (83rd) and Mohammed Muntari (92nd) scored for the army men. Meanwhile, Al Ahli handed Al Gharafa a shock 3-0 defeat. Alain Dioko (10th), Mulota Kabangu (36th) and Meshaal Abdullah (51st) found the target for the men in green. On Friday, Qatar Sports Club beat Al Shahaniya 2-0 while Al Sailiya and Al Khor played out a 2-2 draw.
