DOHA: Al Sadd on Saturday emerged Qatar national futsal champion for the fifth time.
Al Sadd were crowned champion after their season's final clash against Al Rayyan.
Al Sadd won 5-2.
At the presentation ceremony, referees were honoured first followed by the players of the two teams.
Al Khor finished third and picked up the bronze medal.
Al Rayyan team picked up the silver medals while Al Sadd players and officials received the gold medals.
A huge crowd turned up to watch the final game of the season as the first half ended 1-1
.
The second half finished 2-2 as teams went into the extra time with game hanging in the balance.
In the second half of the extra time, Al Sadd scored three consecutive goals to seal their historic win.
Saturday's win was Al Sadd's third title victory of the season.
