DOHA: Al Wakrah twice came from behind to hold 13-time champions Al Sadd 2-2 in a 16th-round match of the Qatar Stars League, which resumed on Thursday.
Khalfan Ibrahim put Sadd ahead in the 23rd minute while Hamoud Al Yazidi equalised eight minutes later.
While Ali Asad restored Sadd’s lead in the 65th, Mouhssine Moutouali drew parity in the 77th.
Meanwhile, Cho Young-Cheol struck the winner in the injury time as Qatar Sports Club warded off the challenge from Al Sailiya 2-1.
Hamdi Harboui had put Qatar SC ahead in the 11th minute while Faouzi Ayesh equalised in the 85th.
Elsewhere, Marcos Miranda (27th and 77th) netted brace and Julio Cesar (47th) and Madson (56th) too found the target as Al Khor shocked Al Ahli 4-2.
Alain Dioko (69th) and Mujtaba Jabbari (82nd) scored for the losers.
