DOHA: Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd have confirmed the signing
of defender Jugurtha Hamroun on a one-year loan deal from Romanian
side Steaua Bucharest.
The Algerian international is set to reach Doha soon to complete his
medical and formally sign the contact with the Wolves, which includes
an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
The capture of the 27-year-old now confirms Sadd’s foreign quota ahead
of the new QSL season. Hamroun will join fellow professionals Xavi, Baghdad
Bounjah and Iranian defender Morteza Pouraliganji at the club, Al Sadd are
set to open up their QSL campaign against Al Kharaitiyat.
