Amwag continue to lead Qatar Amateur League

DOHA: Amwag continue to lead the points standings in the Qatar Amateur League with a tally of 51 points. Al Waab are second with 50 points. In third spot is Military Command with 48 points while Kahramaa are in fourth with 35 points. Doha are fifth with a tally of 32 points. Al Quds (sixth), Lusail (seventh), Smaisma (eighth), Copros (ninth) and Latin (10Th occupy the next five spots on the points table. Meanwhile, Mohammed Fawzi is the top scorer in the league with a tally of 25 goals. Omar Ali of Military Command 14 goals is in second spot. Omar Traore of Kahramaa with 13 goals is in third place whereas Poulojo of Latin is in fourth spot with 12 goals. Navio Zakaria of Madinat Khalifa (11 goals) is in fifth spot. In a rather one-side game, Matar crushed Copros 4-0 in their Qatar AmateurLeaguematch. Matar scored the first goal in the 26th minute through Mohamed Diane and added three more in the second half. In another one-sided clash, Military Command smashed Sudanese Community 6-0. Other teams to score wins incldued Alwaab who beat Latin 3-1 while Kahramaa crushed British Community 3-0. 32 goals scored in round 19 As many as 32 goals were scored in the round 19 matches in the 2014-15Qatar AmateurLeague. Military Command lost to Sudanese Community 6-0 in their one-side game. Lebanese Community thrashed Smaisma 5-0 in their match-up while Lusail won 3-2 against Al Quds. Doha edged past Madinat Khalifa 1-0 in what was a hard-fought battle.
