Appeals Committee announces key decisions

DOHA: The Appeals Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) heard a plea from Qatar Stars League (QSL) giants Lekhwiya over the suspension of players Ali Hassan Afifi and Chico Flores. Following detailed discussions heard by a panel consisting of Ibrahim Al Nisf, Hassan El-Khoury, Nasser Al Mohannadi, Hassan Al Marzouki and Mohammad Sami, it was decided: The suspension of Ali Hassan Afifi was upheld. Meanwhile Chico Flores' suspension from five games was reduced to 4 games.
