Aspire Qatar Beat Chicago Fire on Day Two of Al Kass Cup

DOHA: Home side Aspire Qatar on Tuesday beat American team Chicago Fire 1-0 on day two of Al Kass International Cup. Abdul Rashid scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute after Chicago Fire defenders failed in stopping the Aspire youngsters from firing one in. The home side produced spirited attacks throughout the match as both Under-16 teams entertained a decent crowd at Aspire Academy. The match took place on pitch number five. The Al Kass Organising Committee has set the prize money at US $75,000 for the tournament champions. The team finishing in 12th place will receive US $4,000, with a range of awards in between. An additional US $3,000 will be given to the tournament’s top players, scorers and goalkeepers, with US $1,000 awarded to each man of the match.
