Brazilian Rangel Joins Al Arabi

DOHA: Doha based side Al Arabi have welcomed Brazilian striker Bruno Rangel. it emerged on Tuesday. Rangel will replace Carlos Meza who was offloaded to Al Sha'ab of UAE following a rather below par start to the current season. Rangel, who last played for Brazilian second division side Chapecoense, finished the elapsed season with a total of 31 goals to place himself at the top position of the top scorers list of the league. the 32 year-old was rumored to join Al Khor recently, but the deal collapsed in the last moments for undisclosed reasons. He played for several clubs in Brazil, most notably, Guarani and Joinville.
