DOHA: Qatar's Olympic squad will assemble for a 18-day training camp

in March, it was confirmed on Friday.

The Qatar Football Association's (QFA) on Friday said the training camp

would kick off on March 10. The last day of the camp will be on March

28.

The training camp has been scheduled keeping in mind the Asian Cup

qualifiers to be held in July.

On March 18, Qatar is slated to play a friendly against an unidentified

opponent, QFA said.

Qatar will play Uzbekistan on March 23 followed by an international

friendly against Canada on March 28.

Three days ago Qatar beat Hong Kong 3-0 in a home friendly. In

December, Qatar beat China in another friendly.

The team management, headed by coach Felix Sanchez, is attempting

to give the national players a decent run in before the July qualifiers.
