Coach Fossati names squad for twin qualifiers

DOHA: Coach Jorge Fossati on Monday named the Qatar squad ahead of the team's two key 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Korea and Syria. Qatar face Korea on October 6 in an away game followed by their clash against Syria in Doha on October 11. Qatar squad will fly to Korea in a private jet, QFA official said on Monday. Fossati will lead the squad during a training session on Tuesday before the team flies out to Korea. It will be closed door training session. Soon after the Korea clash, Qatar will head back to Doha for their match against Syria. Fossati replaced Daniel Carreno as coach a little over a week ago. Squad: Claude Amin, Ahmed Yasser, Louiz Martin, Ali Afif, Al Mahdi Ali, Abdulziz Hatem, Boualem Khoukhi, Yousu Ahmed, Ahmed Abdul Maqsood, Saud Al Hajri, Rodrigo Tabata, Sebastian Soria, Saad Abdullah, Pedro Migue, Ibrahim Magid, Abdul Karim Hassan, Mohammed Kasola.
