ZAGREB: Qatar U-19 side lost to their Croatian counterparts on Tuesday
in a friendly, details showed.
Hosts Croatia won 3-0 after goals from Currentashkee (21), Martinez
(88) and Marcot (92).
Coached by Oscar Cano, Qatar replaced five players in the second half
of the friendly.
Qatar are currently training in Croatia ahead of this year's AFC U-19
Asian Cup to be held in Bahrain.
"The match provided us with suitable practice as we work on team
combinations," a team official said on Tuesday.
Nasser Abdulsalam, Syed Hassan, Abdul Rashid Ibrahim, Hammam Al Amin
and Abdulrahman Mohamed Fehmy were the players who got valuable
practice in the second half.
Earlier this year, Qatar squad carried out similar training camps in
Morocco and Spain.
