Director of Development Department inaugurates training course

DOHA: Fahad Al Thani, Director of the Development Department of the
Qatar Football Federation (QFA), opened the AFC Training Course for
the trainers at the Mesaimeer Sports Club, details showed on Saturday.
The training course will last until the second of December, QFA said.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ahmed Omar, AFC technical expert,
and Fahad Fakhro, the supervisor of the presentation of the
theoretical and practical courses. Assistant lecturer Ibrahim Mahmoud
El Shafei was also present.
The course included 26 students including Qatari stars Yusuf Ahmed,
Talal Al Balushi, Ali Arhama Al Marri, Saud Sabah Al Shammari,
Abdulaziz Karim, Fawaz Aman and Mohsen Al Yazidi.
Speaking about the importance of the course, Fahad Thani said: "This
course has a lot of importance and a great deal of value to those
attending the course. The trainers stand to benefit a lot from this
course. This course will help future trainers to be professionally
associated with club or countries across the Asian continent."
Fahad Thani concluded his speech by expressing his thanks and
appreciation to the AFC for the supervision and called on students to
interact continuously with the lecturers in theory and in practice to
pass this course
