DOHA:Al Ain advanced to theAFC Champions League final
after a 2-2 draw with El Jaish in Tuesday’s semifinal second
leg ensured a 5-3 aggregate victory.
After a goalless first half at the Lekhwiya Stadium, Omar
Abdulrahman netted three minutes before the hour as Al Ain
took the lead.
Romarinho then levelled midway through the half before adding
one more with 10 minutes to play but Mohamed Abdulrahman's
stoppage-time equaliser secured Al Ain's return to their third
continental final and the first since 2005.
