DOHA: Goals from experienced strikers on Saturday helped Al Rayyan - the Qatar Stars League (QSL) champions - crush Al Kharaitiyat 3-0 to reach the semi-finals of the Emir Cup. Rodrigo Tabata - captain of Al Rayyan - opened the scoring in the 45th minute followed by a superbly taken long-range shot by Sergio Garcia in the 52nd minute. Qatar national team striker and Al Rayyan's ace forward Sebastian Soria dribbled past Al Rayyan goalkeeper to score his team's third goal in the 72nd minute of the clash played at Grand Hamad Stadium. In the day's second quarter-finals at the same venue, Al Sadd face Al Gharafa for a place in the semi-finals.
