Fossati names squad for Moldova friendly

DOHA: Qatar coach Jorge Fossati on Sunday named a 23-member squad that will be on call for national duty against Moldova in an international friendly next Tuesday. According to details released by Qatar Football Association (QFA), Fossati included Al Rayyan duo of Sebastian Soria and Rodrigo Tabata for the clash set to take place at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Qatar have resumed their training for remaining 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Iran in Doha (March 23) and Uzbekistan in Tashkent (March 28). The Qatar squad has assembled for a three-day training camp that began on January 14. The players will return to their Qatar Stars League (QSL) clashes on January 17 before resuming training again. The squad: Abdul Rahman Al-Harazi, Abdul Majid, Omar Barry, Sebastian Soria, Rodrigo Tabata, Abdul Hamid, Ibrahim Majid, Pedro Miguel, Hamid Ismail, Ali Salem Al-Hajri, Ali Saad, Mohammed Kasola, Boualem Khoukhy, Ahmed Khalfan Saleh, Rami Fayez, Karim Boudiaf, Louis Martin, Mohammed Musa Ali, Ahmed Abdel Maqsood, Yasser Abu Bakr Issa and Said Haj Issa.
