KUWAIT CITY: The first meeting of the Media Committee of the 23rd Gulf Cup was
held in Thursday.
Sattam Al Sahli, Chairman of the Media Committee, headed the meeting in the presence
Qatar's Khaled Mubarak Al Kuwari and a host of other officials.
During the meeting, which was held at the Sheraton Hotel Kuwait, the media plan for
the tournament, the latest developments in the media work and preparations made by
the Committee were discussed during the meeting.
Al-Kuwari, head of the media delegation and member of the media committee, said that
the meeting discussed many important topics regarding the media operations at the
tournament.
Al-Kuwari also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kuwaiti people 'for their
hospitality'.
"This is not strange because out brothers in Kuwait are very hospitable. I would like to thank
the Organizing Committee of the tournament which has made great efforts in a very short
time and this shows their high professionalism especially in the media operations," he added.
"Headed by Mr Sattam Sahli, the committee has provided top facilities and excellent services
to the Qatar media delegation. It is very generous of them to do it," he added.
"The Organizing Committee has made great efforts to streamline media operations. I am sure
this would be an event with high success," he said.
