Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued the Emiri Decree No 4 of 2014 yesterday. After having reviewed the Constitution and the Emiri Decree No. 27 of 2011 that established the Supreme Committee for Qatar 2022, and the Emiri Decree No. 3 of 2014, and the Emiri Decree No. 28 of 2011 which established the board of directors for the Supreme Committee for Qatar 2022, and as amended by Emiri Decree No. 83 of 2011, we have decided the following:
(1) The Board of Directors is to be reformed under H H the Emir as Chairman and H H the Personal Representative of H H the Emir as Deputy Chairman, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and include as members the following:
a. H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani , as the Managing Director.
b. H E the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning.
c. H E the Minister of Finance
d. H E the Minister of Youth and Sports
e. H E the Minister of Communications and Information Technology
f. H E the Minister of Development Planning and Statistics.
g. H E the Minister of Transport;
h. H E the President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA).
(2) The term of membership of the board is four years with renewal for a period or similar periods.
(3) Emiri decree No.28 of 2011 is hereby null and void
(4) This decision is effective on the date of its signature and is to be published in the official newspaper.
