DOHA: HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani met Al Bahr Palace Thursday evening with the President of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA ) Gianni Infantino ,on the occasion of his visit to Qatar. At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Emir congratulated Mr. Infantino on his assumption of the presidency of the International Federation and wished him success in his duties. During the meeting, HH the Emir and the FIFA President reviewed the existing relations of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the FIFA and ways of enhancing them, particularly with regard to the final preparations to organize the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, and the accomplishments that have been achieved so far in this area. The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al -Thani, the Personal Representative of HH the Emir.
