MANAMA: Qatar Olympic squadon Sunday lost
to Kuwait in theirGCC U23 Championship clash
in Manama.
Kuwait won the match 3-0 withgoals from Abdullah
Mahmoud, Ahmed Hazem and Yaqoub al Tararwa.
This was Kuwait's second match in the tournament following
an opening 0-2 defeat to UAE.
Qatar are joined by teams from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE,
Oman and Kuwait.
Qatar is coached by Fahad Thani.
The GCC event is a preparatory event for all teams eyeing a berth
at next year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
