DOHA: Slovakian forward Vladmir Weiss made a telling impact by winning a penalty and converting it himself in the dying moments as Lekhwiya defeated a wasteful Al Sadd 1-0 to win the top-table clash in the Qatar Stars League on Saturday. The three points helped Lekhwiya increase their tally to 45 and move to the top of the table. Sadd have 43 points. El Jaish returned to the winning ways with a 3-1 win over Al Sailiya. Al Arabi clinched Saturday a draw from the jaws of defeat after they drew 4-4 with Al Kharaitiyat in a thrilling encounter. Paulinho scored the equalizer in the 94th minute to clinch a point for Al Arabi. The starts of the match however had to be Junior Dutra who scored a hattrick for Al Arabi and Hassan Abdul Fatah who scored a brace for Al Kharaitiyat. The draw adds a point to Al Arabi, they now have 21. Al Kharaitiyat are now in ninth place, one point more than Al Arabi.
