Lekhwiya storm into Emir Cup quarterfinals

DOHA: Qatar Stars League (QSL) champions Lekhwiya

on Thursday crushed Al Khor 3-1 to reach the quarterfinals

of the Emir Cup.

Star striker Nan Tae-hee struck twice (47 and 90 + 4) to

help the Lekhwiya side dominate the match at Al Sadd

Stadium.

Youssef Msekani scored the third goal for Lekhwiya in

the 57th minute.

For Al Khor, the only goal was scored by S Al Enezi in

the 76th minute.

Tae-hee opened the scoring with a powerful shot from

inside the Al Khor box.

Lekhwiya jumped to a 2-0 lead when Msekani found the

net with a close-range shot.

Al Khor scored their goal when El Enezi smahed home from close range.

Tae-hee, in a cheeky finish, hit a shot from at least 60 yards into an unmarked A Khor net for his side's third goal.

The Korean star was named Man of the Match.
