Mohammed Mousa (13th), Nam Tae-Hee (23rd and 72nd), Sebastian Soria (32nd) and Youssef Msekni (75th) scored for the winners while Marconi Costa (48th) and Wanderley Santos (58th) found the target for Arabi.
The win helped Lekhwiya draw seven points clear at the top as they moved to 34.
Meanwhile, Umm Salal beat Al Wakrah 2-1 while Al Sailiya shocked Al Gharafa 2-1.
Elsewhere, Al Rayyan and Al Khor played out a goalless draw.
