DOHA: QSL side Lekhwiya has revealed a new club badge ahead of
the 2016/2017 season. The team came together on Saturday evening
to formally launch the new design.
The new crest will have a color scheme of red and silver, replacing
the previous red and gold design, whilst the founding year of the
club has also been added into the badge, according to QSL website.
Speaking at the launch of the design Lekhwiya midfielder Ali Afif
said; "I think the design represents the club well and I hope this new
badge can bring the club further success in the new season."
Meanwhile, Lekhwiya continued to train for their upcoming Sheikh
Jassim clash against QSL champions Al Rayyan on September the 1
2th.
The Red Knights also welcomed back a host of Qatar national team
players who returned to training for the first time after their Russia
2018 qualification matches.
