DOHA: Lekhwiya's key defender Madgid Bougherra is fit to play for the
Qatar Stars League (QSL) side next week, it was confirmed on Tuesday.
Bougherra, the 31-year-old from Algeria, missed out on two months of
football due to a leg injury.
"I am delighted to have regained fitness," Bougherra was quoted as
saying in an interview.
The former Rangers player was injured in November.
An Algerian international since 2004, Bougherra has won 53
international caps and scored four goals for the Algeria national
football team.
He featured in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, where Algeria finished
fourth, and the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
