TEHRAN, IRAN: Three-lung center midfielder Luiz Martin on Thursday
refused to lay the blame on his teammates following the loss to Iran,
saying they must continue to fight in the remaining 2018 FIFA World
Cup qualifying matches.
A goalkeeper's mistake allowed Iran to score a late goal in injury time.
Moments later Iran scored another goal to win 2-0 at Azadi Stadium.
"We all have a responsibility to play and try to win," he said.
"We can come back and take the next game. There's no reason to
blame one player for the loss," he said.
"I must commend the way we fought in the 90 minutes. We must
continue to fight," he added.
