DOHA: Mesaimeer on Sunday stunned Qatar SC 2-0 inthe
first phase match of the Emir Cup.
In a game played at Al Ahli Stadium, Mesaimeer opened the
scoring in 33rd minute followed by another goal in the 66th
minute.
Mesaimeer clearly looked the dominating side as they attacked
relentlessly in the two halves.
After scoring the early goal through Suliemani Yamini, Mesaimeer set
the tone for their consistent attacking game.
Qatar SC coach Abdullah Mubarak tried a number of changes in his
game plan but Mesaimeer managed to settle the game with asecond
goal in the66th minute through Jordanian international Emad Zaatra.
Qatar SC's lack of power in attacks dented the team's chances
of producing any goals.
