Morocco hold Qatar to a goalless draw

CASABLANCA, Morocco: Qatar juniors on Wednesday played a goalless draw against hosts Morocco in what was the second friendly between the two sides. Both sides mounted numerous challenge on each other's goalposts but neither team conceded a goal. On Monday, Qatar beat Morocco 2-1 after conceding an early goal. The Oscar Cano-coached Qatar side is currently preparing for the U-19 Asian Cup to be held in Bahrain later this year. Qatar are the defending champions, having won the previous edition in October 2014. Wednesday's clash was watched by Mansour Abdullah Sulaitin, Acting Ambassador of Qatar, and scores of localfans. Morocco senior Headcoach Hervée Renard was also present. The Qatar football delegation will return to Doha on Thursday having played two friendlies and conducted several extensive training sessions over the course last one week. The team will visit Malaga, Spain, for a friendly against Costa Rica on March 23. Qatar will also play a friendly against Ivory Coast on March 25. IMG_5605
