DOHA: The Executive Committee of Qatar Football Association (QFA) has
approved list of members in the local organizing committee for the
U-23 Asian Cup finals to be held in Doha next year.
The Executive Committee - under the chairmanship of QFA President
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani - approved the list at a
meeting on Thursday.
The tournament will be hosted in Qatar between 12–30 January 2016.
A total of 16 teams will play in the tournament.
Besides Sheikh Hamad, the meeting was attended by Saud Al Mohannadi,
Vice President of QFA, Hani Balan of Qatar Stars League (QSL),
representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Qatar Tourism
Authority and the Ministry of the Interior.
