DOHA: Qatar players are committed to giving their best in the
quarterfinals against North Korea, goal poacher AhmedAlaa said on
Wednesday.
"Our goal is clear: we must reach the Olympic Games. For that to
happen, we must be committed to giving our best. I will confidently
say we are committed to giving our best," Alaa said in an interview.
"The first round has been a very satisfying time for us. We have
focused on one team at a time and it has served us well," the Al
Rayyan striker said.
"The backroom staff has been working extremely hard with us. It is a
great set-up where we feel very comfortable and well looked after," he
said.
"We feel ready to play aggressive football," he said ahead of the
Friday quarterfinals.
The tournament ends on January 30.
