DOHA: Qatar on Wednesday beat Andorra 1-0 in their final
training camp friendly in the UK.
It was Qatar's third friendly on their two-week training camp
in England ahead of their two FIFA World Cup qualifying matches
in the coming days.
Wednesday's match saw the national team produce attacking
football though the first half did not produce no goals.
In the second half, the national team increased their effectiveness
against the opponent, especially after the changes made by coach
Felix Sanchez.
In the second half Ali Asad was able to put Al Annabi in the lead
after a special attack led by Abdul Karim Ali, who passed it to
Akram, who in turn presented it to Asad.
Without wasting time, Asad found the back of the net with a
neat finish.
Qatar squad will arrive in Doha on Friday and rest for two days
before resuming their training.
A final friendly match will see Al Annabi take on Turkmenistan
is scheduled for August 23.
