DOHA: Qatar will take on Thailand in their final preparatory friendly
at Al Sadd Stadium on Thursday.
The game will be the last final warm-up game that coach Daniel
Carreno's side will play against any side before they take on Iran in
a 2018 FIFA Worlds Cup qualifying game on September 1.
Qatar - who beat Al Gharafa 3-1 - in a friendly on Tuesday has played
three other friendlies prior to the Thursday clash.
Carreno will be eyeing to give every player a run on the pitch to
complete his preparation phase of playing friendlies.
The final selection of 22 players for the clash in Tehran clash will
be named after Thursday's match.
Following their match on September 1, Qatar will host Uzbekistan for
another 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on September 6 in Doha.
The Qatar players underwent their usual sessions of team training at
Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Wednesday.
Coach Carreno was also part of the training session along with his
backroom staff.
