DOHA: Qatar coach Daniel Carreno met with Sabri Lamouchi of
El Jaish to discuss the fitness and readiness of the national team
players with the Qatar Stars League (QSL) giants.
The two coaches exchanged notes at a training camp at Qatar University.
Carreno is expected to meet a number of QSL coaches during this month
before he announces his roster for the awaited World Cup qualifiers against
Iran and Uzbekistan on July 27.
Top QSL sides will be based in Europe for pre-season training sessions.
Qatar national squad is preparing for their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying
game against Iran on September 1, the second qualifier will see them host
Uzbekistan in Doha five days later .
Carreno called upon Lamouchi to discuss the fitness of the national team
players associated with El Jaish.
Carreno will meet coaches of Lekhwiya and Al Sadd in Austria where the two
sides will be based during the summer.
The Qatar coach will also meet Al Rayyan in Velancia, Spain.
Qatar national squad will play a number of international friendlies in August.
