Qatar coach Sanchez names squad ahead of Hong Kong friendly

DOHA: Qatar U-23 coach Felix Sanchez has named a 23-member squad for the team's international friendly against Hong Kong on Tuesday, details showed on Sunday. The players kicked-off a three-day training camp on Sunday. The camp will end on Tuesday. Sanchez is busy preparing the squad for this summer's Asian Cup U-23 qualifiers. This week's friendly will be played at Al Arabi Stadium also known as Grand Hamad Stadium. The kick-off has been fixed for 8:00pm. The Qatar squad played friendly against China in December. "This week's training camp will help the players hit their straps and do well in the friendly," a team official said on Sunday.
