SUWON: Qatar on Wednesday completed their final training session at
Suwon World Cup Stadium in the presence of QFA President and the
Qatari ambassador to Korea.
The entire squad featured in the training session that was headed by
coach Jorge Fossati on Wednesday.
Qatar ambassador H E Mohammed Abdullah was also present. He later met
with QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani. Second
Secretary Jassim Muftah was also present at the stadium.
QFA Executive Committee member Khalifa Khamis Ali Thawadi was also
present.
"We are here to back the players and raise their confidence. We feel
the players are working hard and we are here to show our support," the
QFA President said.
Ali Thawadi said Qatar fans have sent their support to the players,
saying the team 'must play without fear'.
Prior to the training session on Wednesday, Fossati addressed the
Qatari media travelling with the side.
