DOHA: Hosts Qatar on Thursday crushed Thailand 3-0 in an international
friendly at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Coached by Daniel Carreno, Qatar played a well-coordinated game to
emerge confident winners.
Hassan Al Haydoes (8 and 77) and Rodrigo Tabata (62) scored the goals
for Qatar.
Earlier this month, Qatar beat Jordan and Iraq prior to spending valuable
training time in Switzerland.
Qatar have spent a busy time in August in preparation for their 2018 FIFA
World Cup qualifying match against Iran in Tehran on September 1.
On August 8, Qatar faced Iraq in Doha followed by another game against
Real Betis on August 13 in Zurich.
Al Anabi also took on Jordan on August 18 in Zurich.
Qatar fly out to Tehran on August 30. On September 6, Qatar face Uzbekistan
in their second 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying game.
Qatar have Iran, South Korea, China, Uzbekistan and Syria in their Group.
The team is being coached by Daniel Careno since May last year.
