ZURICH: 2022 World Cup hosts Qatar have dropped
seven spots in the latest FIFA rankings.
Qatar, who have 406 points, are ranked 85th in the
world.
Al Anabi were ranked 78 at the start of August.
The recent drop in rating came after two back to back
defeats to Syria and China in 2018 World Cup qualification
stage.
Qatar are ranked 10th in Asia while Iran are at the top
in the continent. Japan, Australia South Korea, and Saudi
Arabia are the next top sides in Asia.
