Qatar are ranked 9th Asia while Japan (44) are at the top in the continent. Australia (45), South Korea (49) and Saudi Arabia (59) are the next top sides in Asia. Uzbekistan (64), the UAE (74), China (77), Qatar (78) and Syria (80) complete the top teams in Asia. Meanwhile, Brazil returned to the top of the FIFA / Coca-Cola World Rankings after a month-long break to replace Germany who fell to second place. The Argentinians remained in third place, while the three giants in the top five were joined by two unbeaten teams in the region - Switzerland and Poland.
