DOHA: Points toppers Al Sadd and Al Rayyan will clash in the final
round of the Qatar Futsal Championship after both sides emerged as the
two best sides with 69 and 66 points respectively.
The last round of the league will be played on Wednesday and Thursday,
organisers said on Monday.
The final clash will be played at Qatar Sports Club where two other
fixtures will be played on the same day. Al Wakrah will takeonAl
Khor while Al Ahli play Al Arabi.
In other games on Thursday, Al Shamal will play Al Gharafa while Al
Kharaitiyat battle Al Shahaniya. Qatar take on Al Sailiyah in the last
clash of the day at Al Sadd Club.
The clash between Al Sadd and Al Rayyan, however, is expected to be
intense as the latter still has thechance to draw level with a win on
Wednesday.
For the rest of the teams, securing positions at the top of the points
table will be key. Al Khor are in third place with 41 points while Al
Kharaitiyat have 38 points.
Al Gharafa (36), Al Ahli (30), Al Sailiyah (30), Al Wakra (28) and Al
Arabi (25) are placed from fifth to ninth spots.
