DOHA: Qatar kicked off the first phase of their final training ahead
of the 2016 Asian Futsal Cup to be held in February next year.
The event will be the 14th edition of the AFC Futsal Championship, the
biennial international futsal championship organised by the Asian
Football Confederation (AFC).
The tournament - set to be held from February 10 to 21 in Uzbekistan -
will feature 16 teams.
Qatar futsal coach Portuguese Tiago Polido has announced a squad of 26
players, details showed on Saturday.
The first phase of the training camp will last three days.
A friendly match is scheduled to be held at the conclusion of the training camp.
The second phase of the training camp will be held from November 6 to 9.
Periodical training camps have also been outlined throughout November
and December.
The training camp will be held at the Indoor Hall at Al Wakrah Stadium.
