DOHA: Qatar's Olympic squad will take on Bahrain in their opening
clash of the football competition at GCC Games on Saturday, details
revealed on Wednesday.
Only three nations - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar - will compete in
the October 22 to 26 competition, it emerged on Wednesday.
Qatar squad has been training at Aspire Academy under the watchful
eyes of coach Felix Sanchez.
Al Anabi is using the event as part of its preparations ahead of the
AFC U23 Cup to be held in Doha in January.
Sanchez announced his squad of 23 players last week.
Qatar face Saudi Arabia on October 26.
The team with maximum points will be crowned gold medal winners.
