ZURICH: Qatar are ranked 80 on the FIFA computer, according to
latest rankings released for the month of February.
Qatar have dropped a couple of notches since the Daniel
Carreno-coached side hasn't played any international games
this year.
Currently at the top of the points table in Group A of Asian
Zone, 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying, Qatar have made rapid
improvement in their rankings in recent months.
Qatar has a tally of 441 points while Cyprus - who are ranked
79 - have 442 points.
Belgium still lead the world rankings followed by Argentina, Spain,
Germany, Chile, Brazil, Portugal, Colombia, England and Austria
to complete the top-10.
Japan are still the top side in Asia, followed by South Korea, Saudi
Arabia, the UAE, Australia, Uzbekistan and Qatar.
