Qatar ready to host the U-23 show

DOHA: Ali Hammoud Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Organizing
Committee for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers, which will
be held in Doha from 19 to 23 July, said the final arrangements
are in full swing.
He added that a local team of all the departments of the Qatar
Football Federation (QFA) has been formed to provide support
to the AFC in the qualifiers.
"We are ready to host the event in a befitting manner, " Al Nuaimi
said.
"The tournament hotels and training courses have been approved. The
Wybdham Regency Doha will be the base camp for AFC," he said.
According to details Al-Arabi Stadium will host the training of the
Syrian team, while Al-Gharafa hosts the training of the Turkmenistan
team.
Al-Naimi pointed out that the AFC is satisfied with the preparations
made by the QFA with the training fields.
Al Naimi thanked HMC and Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital for
their assistance during the tournament.
He said security will be very strict during the tournament before
adding that entry to the venue will be free of cost.
Al Naimi said: "We want the fans to come and enjoy top quality
football. That's why the entry is free."
