ZURICH: A Qatar football delegation including referees and management
staff has concluded on Friday their annual training camp that ran from August 6
until yesterday.
According to details, the two week workshop was consisted of courses for
referees, assistant referees and international match officials. The intensive
courses for referees ended on August 21.
Discussions during the workshop focused on fitness issues,
practical applications of new rules and regulations and analytical
lectures under the supervision of FIFA and UEFA-accredited officials.
Participants have flown in from across the world including officials
from Asia, Far East Asia, Europe and North and South America.
Qatar Football Association routinely sends its delegation to FIFA and other
international meets and workshops to explore ways and means to develop
football in the country.
