Birmingham: Qatar national take will take on Andorra in the
third and last friendly in the ongoing training camp led by
coach Felix Sanchez.
Before losing to Nottingham Forest 1-2 on Sunday; Qatar
managed to defeat Leeds United 2-0 courtesy of Ahmed
Alaa and Ali Asad who both scored before half time.
A final friendly match will see Al Annabi take on Turkmenistan
is scheduled for August 23.
Stationed at St George’s Park, Qatar have used the camp to
prepare for two upcoming World Cup qualifers against Syria
and China.
St George’s Park is the English Football Association’s national
football centre on a 330-acre site at Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.
The center was officially opened by the Duke and Duchess
of Cambridge on 9 October 2012.
After returning to Doha, the squad will continue to train
until it leaves for Malaysia on August 29.
Sanchez and his boys will return to Doha on September
1 and train for their game on September 5.
