DOHA: Qatar U-23 squad will undergo a training camp in Spain from
December 15 to 23, it was announced on Thursday.
The training camp is part of Qatar's preparation for the AFC U23 Cup
to be held in Doha in January 2016.
The Qatari national team will play a friendly match during the camp
against Serbia on December 22.
After returning from the Spanish camp, the Qatari team will continue
its training camp in Doha until December 30 and will play two
friendlies against Yemen on December 27, and Uzbekistan on December
30.
Qatar's Olympic squad will hold its last training camp in the Turkish
capital, Ankara from December 31 to January 6, 2016.
During the camp, the Qatari team will play two friendlies against the
Turkish Olympic team and against a Turkish team from the Premier
League.
The top three sides at the Doha event will qualify for the football
competition at the Rio Games next year.
