In the game played at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, Al Markhiya relied on a brace from Allan Souza ‎to register their 3-0 win. Ahmed Mubaraq scored the third goal in Al Markhiya's big win. Al Markhiya now have 9 points from three games in the Qatargas League. At the same venue, Al Shamal and Qatar SC played a 1-1 draw. Al Shamal scored first in the 12th minute through Jose Harrison but Qatar SC found the equaliser when Gregory Victor fired one home in the 75th minute.
