DOHA: Football minnows Mesaimeer and giants Qatar SC shared points in their Qatargas League match over the weekend following a 2-2 draw.
Qatar SC grabbed the lead in the 15th minute through Victor Gregory.
Elton Jose of Mesaimeer scored twice (23 and 28). Umar scored the equaliser for Qatar SC in 34th minute.
Qatar SC now have 23 points after seven rounds while Mesaimeer have 18.
In another clash, Markhiya who beat Al Shamal 3-1.
In a rather high-scoring clash, Al Wakrah slammed 11 goals past hosts Umm Salal at Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium.
At half time, Al Wakrah were ahead by 5 goals to nil.
Mohammad Faris (4 goals), Walid Saleh (3 goals) and Ali Mejbel (two) and one each from Pablo Daniel and Nasser Mufath powered the winners.
In another game, Lekhwiya edged past Al Sadd 1-0 when Yzidi scored in the last minute of the match.
Al Arabi beat Al Gharafa 4-2 after strikes by Ahmed Fathi, Jasim Ali, Yusuf Ahmed and Mohammed Khalifa Al Kuwari.
Mohamed Razak and Faiz Rahman scored for Al Gharafa.
Meanwhile Al Kharaitiyat beat Al Khor 3-2 at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium.
