Qatari referees set for AFC Champions League duty

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: Experienced referee Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al Jasimwill be one of a number of Qatar officials managing AFC Champions League matches this week, details showed on Monday. Ibrahim Jassim will be away on duty in Tokyo where FC Tokyo will takeon Jiangsu FC at Tokyo Stadium. He will be assisted by Salem Al Marriand Saud Ahmed Saud. In another AFC Champions League game, Abdulrehman Abdu will manage the Group E clash between Becamex Binh Duong of Vietnam and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors of Korea. Abdu will be assisted by Arif Yousuf Al Shammari and Juma Mohammed at Binh Duong Stadium, Thu Dau Mot City. Saud Ali will officiate in the AFC Asian Cup match between Nafot Al Wasat of Iraq and FC Istiklol of Tajikistan at PAS Ghavamin Stadium in Tehran on Tuesday. Meanwhile Khamis Mohamed Al Kuwari will be the official at the game between Mohun Bagan of India an Yangon United of Malaysia at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday. Qatar's Khamis Mohammed Al-Marri will head the game between Oman's Al Orouba and Palestinian side Al Dharia at Sur Sports Complex, Sur, in Oman on Wednesday.
