Doha: A new administrative course for football development, organized by the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and the Military Sports Association, was launched this week. The event, held for the first time at the Military Sports Association's headquarters, underscores the QFA's dedication to enhancing expertise and fostering sustainable development within the sporting community.

Twenty-four participants from different military units are taking part in the program. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Major General Dr. Yousuf Dismal Al-Kuwari and QFA Executive Director of Development, Mr. Fahd Thani Al-Zarraa, who both highlighted the value of this cross-institutional cooperation.

This initiative falls under a broader series of programs run by the QFA's Development Management, which are crucial for preparing a skilled workforce capable of contributing to the entire football pyramid, from the grassroots to the Qatar U17 (Young Maroons) and beyond. The course will conclude on November 4, 2025, representing a significant milestone in the partnership between the two entities.

The collaborative effort demonstrates the QFA's focus on community partnership and shared responsibility with various state institutions. By expanding access to educational programs, it aims to build a stronger, more professional foundation for the future of Qatari football.
